Casey is a Software Architect with E-miles in Dallas, TX.

Casey's first exposure to pottery was as a student under Carl Block at Waxahachie High School. Casey quickly developed a passion for making functional pots as well as funky bottle and jar forms. The two summers before and after HS graduation, Casey worked at Buck Pottery in Gruene, TX. When Casey's dad retired, he decided to take up pottery. Casey and Jenny have spent a lot of time at his house out in the country in Crockett, TX, throwing pots and firing the wood-fired train kiln. The kiln was started in the Fall of 2007 and the inaugural firing was Memorial Day weekend 2008. Casey and Jenny also have a pottery studio at home.

Casey attended the University of North Texas and studied Computer Science and Mathematics.

Jenny is a registered Interior Designer. After working many years in Dallas at a few different design firms, she started j Studio, LP in November 2007 and is a design consultant specializing in Retail Design and Graphic Design [among many other things].

She started making pots as a student under Carl Block at Waxahachie High School from 1990-1993. Jenny and Casey built a catenary arch kiln during their senior year in HS and developed a passion for making pots and collecting pots from regional Texas potters. She loves firing in a wood-fired kiln for the unpredictable results you get from the wood ash. Jenny focuses more on quality vs. quantity and takes a great deal of time focusing on the modern influence and design of her pottery.

Jenny graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design with a minor in Engineering Technology from the University of North Texas.
